Mission Statement

The Continental School District Educational Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of children.

Vision Statement

To support the students, faculty and administration of the Continental School District and enrich the school’s programs and activities by building community partnerships, so that Continental School will be a learning center recognized for its excellence.

Our Goal

The goal of the Foundation is to provide funds for opportunities, programs, and personnel which cannot be provided through the normal tax-based funding. Each year, the Foundation will distribute funds from the endowment earnings. School requests for funds will be reviewed by the Foundation Board and grants will then be awarded for school programs. Grants have been given for books and supplies for the library, classroom art projects and supplies, Spanish Immersion, classroom art projects and supplies, band equipment, field trips, various enrichment assemblies, STEM grants, the Dance Residency and more.
